Congratulations AHS Swim Team for winning the Sectional Championship.

Congratulations to AHS Fall Sports athletes who claimed the title of Fall All-TVC Champions. Fall sports won championships in football, volleyball, cross country and girls tennis. Soccer won the Challenge Cup and Golf was undefeated for the season making their second perfect season. Thanks to all our athletes for their accomplishments and providing the drive for an amazing increase in school spirit this year.

Congratulations to Xiao Ma for winning first place at the annual Ohio Chemistry Contest held Saturday, November 14 at Ohio University. For winning the contest over 30 other high school students, Xiao will receive a full tuition scholarship to Ohio University.

Congratulations to Sabrina Stalder, Vocational Agriculture Science Teacher at Athens High School, for being chosen as the Athens Soil and Water Conservation District Secondary Conservation Educator of the Year! All of her hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication to natural resources and education has earned her this award. She was honored at the 2009 Annual Banquet.
