Parents Needed for Prom 2008

The Athens High School Junior/Senior Prom 2008 will be held at Ohio University's Margaret Walter Hall on Saturday, May 10.  This is located across South Green Drive from Peden Stadium at Richland Avenue.  At 8:00 PM students with their dates will start arriving.  Let's make this night even more special by lining the entrance with family and friends.  We have a red carpet, lights and military escort.  Each couple/student will be announced as they arrive and walk the red carpet.  Please come and bring your family and friends as we announce/introduce our students.

Parents are also needed for food preparation, food donations, clean up on Sunday morning, etc.  If you can help in any way please contact Nancy Witten, 592-1878, Kathy Chapman, 698-9905 (home) or 590-2540 (cell).  Monetary donations may be made through checks payable to "AHS Prom."  You or your student can deliver the check to the school office.

Be at Margaret Walter Hall at 8:00 PM for the promenade!!  Bring a lawn chair if you like!
