Imagination
I woke up to a purple sky with pigs.
The cow jumped o’er the moon ‘twas made of cheese.
Toy soldiers marched with swords made up of twigs.
Bright lights were strung along a path of trees.
The cat played his fiddle with a five piece grand band.
Kids gathered ‘round Mother Goose for her tales,
While others played hopscotch and Candyland.
Jack and Jill then reached their water pails.
Yellow brick road led the lamb to Mary.
The pumpkin patch turned into a carriage.
Minnie and Mickey then arrive on the morning ferry.
Three furry bears sat down for their porridge.
Why can’t our lives be dreams this joyful?
Imagination is so very delightful.
